Spastic Children's Foundation

Spastic Children's Foundation - Türkiye

Founded in 1989, the Spastic Children’s Foundation of Türkiye has been working for over thirty years to improve access to education for children with disabilities.

At the heart of its mission lies a strong educational commitment: to enable children with special needs to develop their autonomy, social skills, and capacity to fully integrate into society.

A Holistic Approach to Child Development

The Foundation adopts a comprehensive approach, addressing the physical, sensory, emotional, and cognitive dimensions of each child’s development.
Its goal is to strengthen learning abilities, academic skills, communication, emotional self-regulation, daily life skills, and self-awareness.

Through this all-encompassing support, children grow and thrive in an environment that promotes both their personal development and greater inclusion within the mainstream education system.

Project Supported by the Endowment Fund

The project aims to support the physical, sensory, emotional, and cognitive development of 20 children aged 2 to 8 with cerebral palsy, in order to foster their access to education, social integration, and autonomy.

Three Core Ambitions

  • Facilitate access to education by supporting school enrollment and active participation in learning activities;
  • Encourage social integration by strengthening interactions with peers and adults;
  • Promote autonomy by helping children develop daily living skills and build self-confidence.
