Maison des Familles St Jacques de la Lande - Rennes
Established in November 2022 through a joint initiative by Secours Catholique, the ATD Quart Monde movement, and the Apprentis d’Auteuil Foundation, La Maison des Familles Saint-Jacques de la Lande provides a welcoming space for families facing economic and/or relational vulnerability. Its mission is to support parents in their educational role and strengthen family bonds.
In a caring and inclusive environment, the nonprofit offers a program of socio-educational and artistic activities, along with opportunities for dialogue and exchange. These activities are co-designed with and by families, in collaboration with a trained and welcoming team. The program highlights parental skills and fully recognizes the essential role of parents as the first educators of their children.
By supporting families in their parenting responsibilities, La Maison des Familles acts as a catalyst for social transformation, helping to break cycles of poverty and promote the holistic development and social integration of children.
