Heart Heart Foundation - South Korea

The Dream Plus Project, led by Heart Heart Foundation and supported by the bioMérieux Endowment Fund aims to narrow the education gap in South Korea by supporting underprivileged children aged 0 to 8 through basic education, arts, and physical activities.

This three-year program helps preschool and early elementary children develop intellectually, emotionally, and morally by:

  • Offering basic learning and emotional support in their first language to build communication skills and confidence.
  • Providing arts, sports, and cultural experiences that foster creativity and emotional growth.
  • Engaging families through an integrated support system to strengthen the child’s learning environment.
  • Creating opportunities for children to interact with bioMérieux Korea employees through volunteer activities.

Beyond individual learning, the project aims to expand this model nationwide, promoting fairer access to education and reducing inequalities between low-income and more privileged families.

Key Benefits

  1. Reducing educational inequality by giving underprivileged children access to essential learning and creative opportunities.
  2. Empowering every child to dream—helping them build the skills and confidence to learn continuously and shape their own future, regardless of economic background.

Through Dream Plus, Heart Heart Foundation gives children the chance to discover their potential, strengthen their foundations, and grow with hope.
