Transplanting Traditions Community Farm - Durham

The mission of Transplanting Traditions Community Farm is to provide refugee and immigrant adults, youth, and children in North Carolina with access to land, healthy food, education, and agricultural entrepreneurial opportunities. It seeks to ensure a better quality of life for refugees and immigrants by addressing social issues such as educational gaps, low-paying jobs, and English literacy skills.

Thanks to the project supported by the Endowment Fund, refugee children aged 3 to 8 will benefit from “The Refugee Children's Program", an academic-year tutoring and early education preschool program. The program seeks to help increase academic outcomes, improve social and emotional development, and deepen cultural heritage while providing supportive care for young refugee children in North Carolina.
