Desafio Levantemos - Chile
Based in Santiago, Chile, Desafío Levantemos Chile works alongside communities in emergency situations to provide them with sustainable solutions.
In 2022, the Endowment Fund partnered with Desafío Levantemos Chile to launch a groundbreaking program developed in collaboration with the Curiosity Foundation: “Desafío Curiosity”, an innovative project aimed at developing the socio-emotional skills of students from vulnerable backgrounds to address the lack of educational initiatives, the absence of which has led to an increase in relationship difficulties, violence, and conflicts at school.
This program aims to develop socio-emotional skills through activities focused on science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM), using space exploration as a subject of study, and in partnership with NASA experts. It is being implemented in two schools in the Santiago Chile region.
